Hi my question is what is gold exchange traded funds. and where to buy
those, also are they risky?

gold exchange traded funds ETF are exchange traded funds, It's like buying/selling
stocks & you get DMAT delivery.

Its like buying and selling gold, and ETF unit price will reflect gold price. You can buy/sell them on NSE, using your brokerage (demat) a/c. But never invest more than 10% in Gold

Instead why don't you invest following portfolio
